Best is unique because every unique person is the best. Every person is unique so every person is the best. What am I trying to say? That is nothing called objectively the best because every so called objective criteria is subjectively perceived. Those who claim that there is the best person from the rest, it has to be understood given criteria.
For example, If I fix a criteria: in the academic performance, the one who takes the highest marks out of 100 will be considered the best over the others. In that case, the one who takes the highest marks is the best. However, it may not consider how depth of his/her knowledge will be. Therefore, a criteria is necessary to decide what it means best socially because we are social beings.
However, you know, every person is unique. Every person thinks, understands and expresses his/her view in a unique way. Therefore, he/she is always the best in him/herself. That infers that comparison is a mistake because we cannot compare two entire different or unique persons in the fullest dimension of their beings. Comparison destroys the depth of our being. We are though related but we respond to the situation in a unique way.
What makes us unique? It is just a culture or qualities but much more. We are primarily born in a particular place, time, year and context. We perceive things in a particular way. We react or respond to the situations in a particular way. Though there is a co-relation with the other, we try to understand from our historical, cultural and social context.
Therefore, each one’s view needs to be respected and welcomed. Though, we human beings think diversely, yet we have the ability to welcome ideas, understand certain extent of other person’s views and expression.
Therefore, let us focus, the best is the unique and every unique person is always the best for every human being is always unique.
